Virtual Self-Help Resource Centers (SHRC) – Orleans Civil District Court and 24th JDC
SHRC is a place where you can find helpful information and services about your legal problem if you are not
represented by an attorney. Legal information includes court forms and tools to help you complete these forms,
answers to general questions about court process or procedure, and help preparing for your day in court.
Volunteers are ready to help you in whatever way they can. Their role is to provide you with information, not legal
advice. They have been instructed not to answer questions if they do not know the answer and may refer you to other
resources to assist you in getting the information you need.
